| Astrology is a tool for self awareness. Each Birth Chart, like a snowflake, is unique. All the elements, the divisions within Astrology, are part of a system of wholeness. In this life, you have been assigned one of twelve possible Ego/Sun Types: the Signs. You’re drawn to reading your daily Horoscope in the paper; but Astrology assumes you are much more than just this picture. By charting a map of the Planet positions against the backdrop of the Zodiac, at the exact time of your birth, a picture of mathematical relationships unfolds. These symbolic, or Archetypical relationships are the subject of most, if not all Myth. By studying those stories indicated by our individual charts, we can begin to offer our higher selves a choice toward wholeness, rather than mechanically behaving according to type. To this study I offer a tool to help you assimilate an enormous amount of information. |
HOW
TO ORDER YOUR MAGNETIC ASTROLOGICAL BIRTH CHART
Welcome to Magnetic Birth Charts web site. Here you can order your own individually made Astrological Birth Chart printed on magnetic paper to allow you to place it on a refrigerator or any metal surface for frequent viewing. Although each element of an Astrological Birth Chart, Horoscope, is easy to understand, with ten Planets and twelve Signs, it is hard to remember all their positions, much more their relationships to one another. To facilitate this learning, a Magnetic Birth Chart is a great tool. Once you learn your Birth Chart you can view it in relation to any time: past events, dates in the future, or most importantly, in current time. To do this we provide ten individual magnetic discs with the planet glyphs printed on them. Using an Ephemeris, a list of all the planet positions by date; you can arrange the planets around your chart to view which influences might be dominant. By simply
moving the magnetic planets around your chart as time progresses, you
can begin to learn and participate in the various cycles of the Planets,
and see these transiting Planets in relationship to the Planets in your
unique Birth Chart.

HOW TO READ YOUR BIRTH CHART An Astrological Birth Chart is made-up of two rings within a circle. The outermost ring represents the Zodiac; the inner ring the House system. The Zodiac is a map of the sky. When we look at the night sky, it’s like we are seeing the inside of a bowl. When we add the unseen zone of the sky, in daylight, we can imagine the image of the inside of a ball. We call this image the Celestial Sphere. This inverted sphere is divided into twelve “barrel stave” shaped sections pointing to the Poles, and occupying 30 degrees each. Astrologers have used the progression of the Signs (see Triplicaties and Quadruplicaties) to name these sections, thus mapping this backdrop so we can measure the movement of the Planets across our sky, as they appear in front of the Constellation of Stars within a Sign.
The Planets appear within the inner House ring, set to positions of the Zodiac they occupied at the time of your birth. We learn to interpret their meanings according to the Sign they are in, as well as the House in which they reside. Each Birth
Chart can be seen as a Play: the Planets are like actors, the Signs
they are in are the roles the actors play, and the Houses the Planets
are in are the Sets, or Stages, on which the action occurs.
The Planet magnetic discs are placed around the outside of your Birth Chart Disc according to the degree of the Sign they are in for any time/date you wish. An ephemeris is a list of all the Planet positions by Sign and degree listed by year and day. Using an Ephemeris set the Planets to their Zodiac positions just outside the outer ring on your Birth Chart. The Planets are divided into three groups: Personal, Social and Transpersonal
The Sun will move into a new Sign around the 20th of each month. We live in a dualistic realm here on Earth, so if the Sun symbolizes the aware, waking Ego, then the Moon, its opposite, will symbolize the unconscious, past-life aspects of one’s soul. (Notice during an eclipse that the Sun and Moon appear to be the same size in the sky). The Moon will orbit your entire disc each month; being conjunct the Sun during the New Moon, and opposite the Sun at the Full Moon. Mercury, being closest to the Sun, never wanders far from the Sign of the Sun. It symbolizes the mind, travel, communication … Venus and
Mars symbolize the female and male aspects of our psychological being.
THE KEYS TO UNDERSTANDING THE MEANINGS OF THE ASTROLOGICAL SIGNS AND THE HOUSE SYSTEM The meaning of any Astrological Sign and its associated House comes from melding two different ideas. In Astrology these two ideas are called the Triplicities and the Quadraplicities. The Triplicities are Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. They simply refer to the different stages of any life or occurrence. Each life has a beginning, middle and an end. The energies required of each stage are quite different, as the differences between a child, an adult, and an elder. The Quadraplicities
are Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. The four stages of matter cycle with
the three stages of life to produce twelve combinations. By melding
these two ideas we derive all the meanings associated with an Astrological
Sign and its corresponding House. |
